‘Architecture that is healing people’

Whilst at Snug Architects, I led the project team in the design and delivery of the pioneering project for One Small Thing. In March 2024, we were delighted to celebrate with OST, Snug and other members of the design team as it was awarded Overall Winner of the RIBAJ MacEwen Awards 2024. The award celebrates ‘architecture for the common good’.

‘Hope Street is the only project that almost had me crying... we hear of the architect as being a doctor of space and this is an example of architecture that is healing people,’

- Alex Scott-Whitby, RIBA MacEwen Award judge

‘Mike, this award demonstrates an incredible ability on your part to listen and to learn, but then for you to also execute it in an award-winning way!’

– Lady Edwina Grosvenor, Founder of One Small Thing
